The Lizard Lounge, owned and operated by the USS Barnstable County, was a popular watering hole with the Brits. The other alternative in Ismailia was the Suez Canal Club, which served lukewarm Egyptian beer ("Stella" - not to be confused with the UK type Stella - this stuff was a first class laxative), so there was really no contest. The guy sitting centre front (with the beard) is Bob Dollins, who runs the Barnstable County Website.
